Rationale: To recognize student accomplishments
outside of school based activities to celebrate significant
accomplishments of our student body. In recognizing these
accomplishments, we will broaden our appreciation for the many talents
of our students.
Process: A committee of
teachers and administrators will review the application forms for
recognition monthly. Nominations can come from Parents, teachers,
coaches, or community members. We will recognize individuals and groups
for significant accomplishments with a brick placed on the “Wall of
Fame”. Examples of significant accomplishments are; Black belt, Girl
Scout Gold Award, Boy Scout Eagle Scout, awards for academic
competitions (essay contests), Boston Globe art awards, heroic action,
and/or exemplary community service. The bricks will be displayed for one
year unless space becomes an issue.
